Who knows what is going on in this bizarre story out of Philadelphia, courtesy of FoxNews. Apparently, SCC Realty, the real estate management firm owned by Jay-Z aka Shawn Corey Carter, is attempting to evict rent-paying tenants from a building owned by Jay-Z in Philadelphia. Local real estate agents surmise this is because Jay-Z wants to sell the building, with 7 units in the building being listed as for sell. Current residents have called Jay-Z’s lawyers’ tactics to remove them from the property ‘intimidating.’ Employing strong-arm legal maneuvers, tenants are being sued to evict and the like. If I were living in that building I’d just find somewhere else to live, forget having to deal with someone trying to harass me so they can sell their building. That said, how horrible must that be to live in?
