Silicon Valley activists have created an online pledge stating that they will refuse to participate in data collection that can be used to discriminate against Muslims in America. “We refuse to build a database of pepole based on their constitutionally-protected relgious beliefs. We refuse to facilitate mass deportations of people the government believes to be undesirable.” The website can be found at Neveragain.tech. The pledge recalls IBM’s work with the Third Reich during the Holocaust.
