Papers, Please: East German Style Immigration Bureaucrat Simulator

Have you ever wondered what life was like for an East German immigration official working at Checkpoint Charlie in divided Berlin? Well, wonder no more. “Papers, Please” is a game that sets out to simulate something you never thought you wanted to do in the first place – live the life of a Stalinist regime official who spends the day scanning documents for discrepancies to prevent foreign infiltration and terrorist attacks. The game is actually quite addictive and the graphics help transport you back to the 1980s so we recommend it overall. We haven’t spent enough time for a full review, but, like we said, in a time of Grand Theft Auto V and Final Fantasy XIV, Paper’s, Please demands attention.
