Many are concerned that Elder Scrolls Online is going to fall short of expectations. Up until now, everything led us to believe that TESO would be nothing more than a theme-park, WoW-like MMO RPG experience that, frankly, has become quite stale.

The recent revelation of gameplay footage showing a first-person perspective has lightened the mood of many traditional TES games fans. Not only does the MMO resemble traditional TES games, but the gameplay also mirrors it to the extent possible for an MMO. The Elder Scrolls Online beta is ongoing and a full game release is expected later this year.
