Beach House is a duo, Victoria Legrand of France and Alex Scally of Maryland, formed in 2004. Their genre is a blend of alternative rock and pop, called ‘dream pop’ according to Wikipedia.
Dream pop is a subgenre of pop that fuses rock with punk and ethereal elements featuring nostalgic melodies and ‘dreamy soundscapes.’
The duo has released 4 albums thus far and today’s single of the day comes from the group’s third album, Teen Dream, called ‘dynamic and intense’ by the group.
