Rat attacks NYC woman waiting for the J Train.

At 9:30 AM this past Monday a bold and fearless rat chomped down on a subway rider’s foot as she was standing on the platform at the Brooklyn Bridge/City Hall stop in Lower Manhattan. Rats are a commonplace resident of any underground transportation system, so knowledge of rats existing and thriving in these caves is not surprising. People worry though that rats are becoming too accustomed to the presence of subway passengers and, emboldened by this encroachment, no longer have any fear of running past or even biting people as they wait for a subway car.
