We can’t wait to see this film when it arrives in theaters later this year. While there exists great potential for disappointment and boredom (like that movie Open Water – similar concept, probably not as many sharks in space…however awesome that would be).

300: Rise of an Empire Trailer

Watch Queen Cersei lead the Spartans into battle to avenge their defeat or something along those lines. Just kidding, although it’s good to see Game of Thrones’ Lena Headey. Honestly, the plot is quite secondary to the amazing backdrops and the blood soaked battles waged across them.

We thoroughly enjoyed the adventurous and fantastical first installment in the three-part Hobbit film adaptation. The second doesn’t look set to disappoint, although it might get difficult keeping so many minor plotlines consequential.
