A hauntingly beautiful track, Love & Thanks’ “Resting Eyes” captures in musical form the effervescence of life and transience of emotion. Simultaneously nostalgic and grounded in a future of potentialities, this song’s lyrics tug at both the heart strings and provoke greater introspection into what purpose such sentiments or thoughts ultimately play in the greater scheme of things. Quite meditative stuff… definitely one of our favorite tracks this year.
