The Cadillac Converj concept, cancelled and restarted countless times, has manifested itself in the sheet metal in Detroit at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show and its name is the Cadillac ELR.

The ELR is General Motors’ (GM) transformation of the already-gorgeous Chevrolet Volt electric car into an American luxury touring coupe. The body style continues Cadillac’s distinctive ‘art and science’ theme that simultaneously looks stately and aggressive.

If you thought green cars had to have boring styling you can now count Cadillac with Tesla for pioneering aggressive, bold looks in eco-friendly cars.
