A Couple in Pakistan is Accused of Murdering Their Teenage Daughter After She Spoke to a Boy

The so-called ‘honor killing’ took place in Kotli, a village in Pakistan-administered Kashmir. The parents of the girl had poured acid on her face and tried to pass her murder off as a suicide. Nearly 1,000 women lost their lives last year in ‘honor killings’ according to the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan.
