Pepperidge Farm recalls Sesame Sticks because of Small Wires Found in Snack.

Pepperidge Farm, maker of the beloved gold fish snack among other things, is recalling Sesame Stick snacks with a sell by date of November 20, 2011 through November 20, 2012 and a yellow “20% More!” banner across the top of the box. The recall has been issued because Pepperidge Farm was receiving complaints from customers about the inside of their mouths getting cut and bleeding after eating the snack. The cuts and scrapes are being blamed on “small pieces of wire” found in the snack. Of course, Pepperidge Farm is encouraging customers to participate in the voluntary recall by bringing the product to the store of purchase, where they may receive a full refund or receive a replacement wire-laced snack.
