Times are tough. So tough, in fact, that beloved claymation figure Gumby has been forced to rob a San Diego 7-11 store to survive this past Labor Day. Gumby tried to hold up the convenience store for some cash and cigarettes but struggled to get out his gun, instead spilling .27 cents onto the floor. This apparent misstep in the robbery process gave him pause from his insanity, causing our beloved jade friend to flee from embarrassment. Sad thing about the .27 cents. You know when you’re dressed up as a Gumby and robbing a convenience store that times have to be a litte tight. Now, not only is Gumby without his smokes but also he’s out .27 cents. Lesson here? Don’t do hard drugs, ever.
