The United States Postal Service needs some spare change.

The Financial Times tells us that we’re not buying enough stamps and because of this, the USPS is being ‘pushed towards’ insolvency. I didn’t know I was actively against the Post Office, we have a pretty good relationship in all. It is sad though if this country’s mail service is bankrupt. What kind of banana […]

Crazy Cadillac Ciel Concept.

If you’re like me, you probably wish the cars featured in the Fallout universe were real. I don’t know why, but I love the design of American luxury cars up until about the mid-sixties. The Cadillac Ciel concept is a four door convertible concept that resembles the land yachts of old. It drips with old […]

Gearbox is going to reboot the Duke Nukem series.

I was never a big fan of this series but it was fun enough. Gearbox is going to reboot it after the release of Duke Nukem Forever. I remember hearing about that game for a decade or so before it actually came out. It stinks that not many nice things have been said about it.

GM up to its old tricks.

GM apparently doesn’t want to honor the warranties on Impalas made under the ‘Old GM‘ (aka General Motors, as opposed to Government Motors which some have dubbed the recent incarnation). Wow. TouchPads are going for $99 for the low end model and are selling like wild, ironic given that if they had sold like this previously HP would most likely not be discontinuing the line. ZDNet declares that this action on […]

Indeed. Looks like Kinect is getting its first serious game. About time. If executed well, this game could be a blast and hopefully somewhat scary. Brought to you by Sega. God I still love them!

Polar Bear that mauled British schoolboy to death had decaying teeth.

This is absolutely sad. Apparently some travelers to Norway were attacked by an underweight and malnourished polar bear who mauled one to death and severely wounded the others. It is hard to fault the polar bear for the tragedy, but that doesn’t lessen the bizarre and tragic nature surrounding of this incident.

Ambitious people are content people, which is the opposite of my entire life experience.

A University of California professor conducted a study in which she found out that ambitious people rank higher on contentedness levels than their less-ambitious peers. Don’t worry though, three quarters of this article discusses how Jay-Z and Beyonce are really ambitious and really happy together. Oh and they’re almost worth two billion pounds sterling, which […]

The Bradley-Martin Ball and the end of the Gilded Age. Part II

So when we talk about excess in the modern sense we kind of think we invented the concept. One need look no further than at the garish spectacle that has become Kim Kardashian’s wedding to notice that this trend among celebrities and the mildly well-to-do is in full force. I have no problem with someone […]
